Lori's Nightmare Guides Hub

Lori’s Nightmare is a playable alpha on Roblox by acorn dreams (place 139360679647453). Each online server holds seven players: one Nightmare and up to six Children. A round runs about eight minutes. Children restore 1990s CRT televisions to open an escape route. The Nightmare hunts, downs, and stalls that clock. This Guides Hub is the playbook for those two jobs.

The game entered alpha in January 2025 and is still tagged alpha. Shop prices, killer kits, and map rotation can shift. After a drop, confirm numbers on the patch notes page rather than assuming a clip from last season is still exact.

First hour on the wiki

If you just queued, open the Getting Started walkthrough. It covers lobby picks, free Lori, the timer, coins, and daily quests. Pair it with the controls reference so WASD, Ctrl prone, E interact or hide, and Q abilities are automatic before a hallway chase starts.

Children win by finishing TVs and leaving, not by looping forever. Nightmare players should finish how to play as Nightmare before they camp a closet and eat the camping penalty.

Hotel is the map you will load most often. School, Daycare, Hospital, and Orphanage rotate in; Orphanage is the only layout with secret spots. Round math you should memorize

The clock starts near eight minutes. Restoring a TV adds about fifteen seconds. A Child who dies without a save subtracts about ten. That is why a greedy solo repair that gets you killed can cost the lobby more time than it banked. When the team hits the target TV count, an escape route opens at a set location. The remaining job is to walk there without feeding a last-second down.

Downed Children show a heart with a bleed-out timer and can be revived. After death you get a thirty-second ghost state. If the Nightmare player leaves and nobody takes over, a bot named Roytt patrols. Do not treat Roytt as a free win; the bot still walks unfinished TVs.

Your screen goes grainy when the Nightmare is close. That cue is your leave-the-CRT signal. Closets (E) and prone tunnels (Ctrl) buy distance. They do not win the round by themselves.

Shop, codes, and tools

Coins drop from TV streaks, floor pickups, wins, and dailies such as win three rounds, kill five as Nightmare, complete ten TVs, save three allies, or play Nightmare once. The daily quests page lists those five lobby jobs. The coin farm tool explains AFK Void on a private server (about one coin every thirty seconds) and a sane buy order. Compare kits on the Children roster and the Nightmare roster before you dump a stack into a 1,000,000$ joke pick.
