Tier List Hub

This hub is the ranking map for Lori’s Nightmare on Roblox. Letters are not cosmetics. An S-tier Child either cheaply reveals the killer or spends a cooldown that actually saves a down. An S-tier Nightmare either breaks the TV plan or locks a hallway so the timer dies. If a kit only looks flashy in the shop, it sits lower until a patch changes the numbers. The experience is still tagged alpha, so treat these ranks as a buy order, not a personality test.

Read the detailed Children tier list before you dump coins into a 5,000-coin self-revive. Read the Nightmare tier list before you assume the free killer is a throw. Kit text, quotes, and coin prices live on the Children roster and the Nightmare roster. If you have not finished a round yet, start with the beginner guide.

How we rank

The list scores kits on four questions:

  1. Does the ability change a chase or a TV in one press?
  2. How many coins does that press cost?
  3. Does the kit still work when the other side brings stun, invis, or door phase?
  4. Can a new player use it without a twenty-hour movement course?

S-tier answers yes to the first two. A-tier answers yes to one of them and stays useful on every map. B-tier teaches a role or fills a hole. C-tier is niche. Situational sits off the letter grid because the sticker price is a joke.

Rounds last eight minutes, plus 15 seconds per restored TV, minus 10 seconds when a Child dies unsaved. Escape opens after the televisions are done. That clock is why peel and TV tools outrank fashion. Movement is WASD, prone is Ctrl, hide is E, and Q is the extra action. Full bind notes sit on the controls guide.

Children snapshot

S: Spy (Locate Monster), Pincat (decoy), Maggi (slow puddle), Pigi (Bear Trap), Hiro (Sword Strike). High impact for the coin, or unique peel that stops a hunt.

A: Gus, TVE, Peri, Dani, Soni, Luna, Ricci. Revives, TV radar, invis, speed, ghost doors, and body retrieve.

B: Lori, Coby, Acorn, Daisy, Bani, Flynn, Wiz, Maou. Learn-the-game speed, repair, group speed, shield, double jump, grapple, teleport, self-revive.

C: Bacon, Nobita, Mori. Ally track, prone speed, teddy morph. Fine in a coordinated six, easy to skip solo.

Situational: Azazil at 1,000,000 coins. Armageddon is a real stun if you already own it. Do not farm for it. Use the coin farm tool for real shop goals.

Full reasoning sits on the Children rankings. Role labels — Survivalist, Support, and Sentinel — are explained on the Players hub. Child-side fundamentals are in how to play Children.

Nightmare snapshot

S: Phantom sabotages TVs and phases doors. Tarantula cocoons with webs and leaves more webs during Unleash. Both attack the objective, not just the last Child in a hallway.

A: Carnivore eats downs to cut the bleed timer and Unleashes into a stun-immune frenzy. Snowball killer. Weaker if the lobby never goes down.

B: default Nightmare. Free Mind Trap plus Unleash. Honest, punishable by stun teams, and still the right teacher. Camping is penalized; patrol unfinished TVs instead.

Specials interrupt TVs. If the killer leaves, Bot Roytt takes the slot. Ghosts linger about 30 seconds after a Child death. Full kit text is on the Nightmare roster. Rank writeups are on the Nightmare tier list. Killer fundamentals live in how to play Nightmare.

What to buy first

Children: Spy at 50 coins, then Pincat or Maggi, then a stun (Pigi or Hiro) if the lobby keeps feeding. Nightmare: play free Nightmare until you can afford Phantom or Tarantula; Carnivore is the snowball pickup in between. Owning every Nightmare kit is often quoted around 9,000 coins — treat that as a ballpark, not a guarantee.

Match this to how you actually play. Sentinel kits need TV discipline from how to restore TVs. Maps change loop quality; Hotel, School, Daycare, Hospital, and Orphanage notes live in the maps guide. No live promo codes as of September 2026, so do not wait on a shop coupon. Check the codes hub after events, and skim patch notes when a kit suddenly feels wrong. Community drop talk also shows up on Discord links.

How to use the two lists together

A lobby stacked with S-tier Children (Spy plus a stun) makes free Nightmare miserable and lifts Carnivore, because Carnivore ignores stun during Unleash Meateater. A lobby of B-tier Survivalists with no peel makes Phantom and Tarantula even scarier, because nobody can stop a sabotaged TV. Rank the other side, then pick. That is the whole point of this hub.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Children, Nightmares, codes, and maps.

Who is S-tier on the Children side?

Spy, Pincat, Maggi, Pigi, and Hiro. Spy is the cheapest information tool. The other four peel or stun. Full notes are on the Children tier list.

Who is S-tier on the Nightmare side?

Phantom and Tarantula, because they pressure TVs and doors instead of only chasing. Carnivore is A-tier snowball. Details sit on the Nightmare tier list.

Should I buy Azazil?

No. The 1,000,000-coin sticker is a flex. Armageddon is strong if you already own it. Spend coins on Spy, Pincat, Maggi, Pigi, or Hiro first.

Is the free Nightmare a throw pick?

No. Default Nightmare is B-tier: honest Mind Trap and Unleash, weaker into stun teams, still the right teacher. See the Nightmare roster.

Do codes change shop prices?

There are no live promo codes as of September 2026. Bookmark the codes hub and keep farming coins through rounds and the coin farm tool.

Where are the full kits listed?
