Lori's Nightmare Every Nightmare Kit

This is the Nightmare roster for Lori’s Nightmare: four playable kits, plus Bot Roytt and Ghost rules. No extra abilities. Rank letters live on the Nightmare tier list. The people you are hunting are on the Children roster. Parent hub: Players.

One Nightmare per server. Up to six Children restoring CRTs. Eight-minute rounds, plus 15 seconds per restored TV, minus 10 seconds on an unsaved Child death. Escape opens when the televisions are done. Camping is penalized. Patrol unfinished TVs. Every special on this page can interrupt a television — that interrupt is the job. Nightmare — free

Mind Trap: 90-second trap, 60-second cooldown. Unleash Nightmare: 12.5 seconds of speed and tracking, 110-second cooldown. Quote: “Nightmares lurk in the darkest places.”

This is the teacher kit. Two buttons, both honest. Drop Mind Trap on a route to an unfinished TV, not on a body you already downed. Save Unleash for grouped repairs, not for a single Child who is already looping you in a dead hallway. Stun teams from the Children S-tier — Pigi, Hiro, Maggi — delete this Unleash. That is why the Nightmare tier list parks the free kit in B. It is not a throw. It is the kit that tells you whether you understand patrol.

Winning with Tarantula, the web Nightmare kit

Carnivore — 1,350 coins

Eat Meat: eat a downed Child, cut their timer, gain speed, 89-second cooldown. Unleash Meateater: 15-second frenzy that ignores stun, 110-second cooldown.

Snowball hunter. If the lobby is already on the floor, Eat Meat turns a down into a missing repairer and a faster you. If the lobby never goes down, you paid 1,350 coins for a button you cannot press. Unleash Meateater exists because Children S-tier is stun: Sword Strike and Bear Trap bounce during the 15 seconds. Time it on the last TV, not on the first sprint you see. Carnivore is the anti-stun purchase and the usual first paid step after free Nightmare.

Phantom — 2,500 coins

Sabotage TV, 66-second cooldown. Unleash Spectre: 12.5 seconds of speed and ignore doors, 101-second cooldown. Quote: “Echoes from a forgotten child.”

Objective hunter. Sabotage is why Phantom sits in S on the Nightmare rankings. Children can loop you for a minute and still lose if the CRT they finished no longer counts. Unleash Spectre deletes door holds. Luna’s Ghostify is the mirror — she ignores doors too — so do not mindlessly phase into a 10-second ghost. TVE can find the next unfinished set; TVE cannot undo sabotage without time. Your job is to make that time missing.

Tarantula — 5,000 coins

Shoot Spider Web: stun cocoon, 45-second cooldown. Unleash Spider: 12 seconds of speed, leaves webs, 120-second cooldown. Quote: “Fallen into the web of the mind.”

Map-control hunter. Webs make a hallway illegal. Unleash Spider paints more illegal floor. Maggi’s puddle and Flynn’s grapple both need a clean line; you take the line away. Tarantula is the most expensive Nightmare. Buy it after you already know Hotel, School, Daycare, Hospital, and Orphanage routes from the maps guide. A web on a tile you do not understand is just a cooldown you donated.

Bot Roytt and Ghost

If the Nightmare player leaves, Bot Roytt appears and the round continues. Do not disconnect to dodge a bad map; the bot still hunts and the Children still restore TVs.

When a Child dies, a Ghost lingers about 30 seconds. Use that window to walk to a nearby unfinished CRT and interrupt it. Do not use it to emote on the body. The 10-second penalty for an unsaved death already landed. The remaining value is the TV.

Shop, coins, and the 9,000 ballpark

Free Nightmare, then Carnivore at 1,350, Phantom at 2,500, Tarantula at 5,000. Community chatter often prices owning every Nightmare kit around 9,000 coins. Treat that as a ballpark, not a guarantee. Buy order follows jobs, not fear. If Children in your region stack Hiro and Pigi, Carnivore’s ignore-stun frenzy is the answer. If they finish TVs behind doors, Phantom. If they run the same Hotel corridor every time, Tarantula. If you still miss Mind Trap placements, stay free.

Hunting the Children roster

You should know the other side. The Children roster is the matchup sheet:

• Spy: you are seen. Sabotage and webs still work after a ping. Ambush on default Nightmare does not.
• Pincat: the first sprint may be a clone. Look at the TV.
• Maggi: do not Unleash through a puddle unless you are Carnivore in Meateater.
• Pigi: the last CRT is trapped. Approach from an angle or sabotage without stepping on the plate.
• Hiro: 24-second hard stun. Meateater is the window. Spectre and Spider still lose to a sword if you eat it early.
• Gus and Ricci: downs come back. Interrupt the TV, do not tunnel the body.
• TVE: they will find the set you did not sabotage yet. Keep a cooldown for the next one.
• Peri, Dani, Luna: invis and door phase. Track sound. Spectre is a door answer, not a radar.

Controls for the hunter are still WASD plus your two kit buttons. Child-side Ctrl and E are why you check vents and hide spots after a web, not why you camp a hide spot for a minute.
